Random characters appended to URL on Godaddy hosting

This issue has been reported by many people on the Godaddy forum and it messes up your entire site.

Fortunately, there is a solution. Here's what you need to do:

Launch Web Hosting

Select DNS Manager under Settings

Check the following entry for IP address:

Host          Points to          TTL

@              <IP address>   <1 hour>

Add a new HOST entry

The new entry should look like this

Host         Points to         TTL

*               <IP address>  <1 hour>
