[Solved] 0X80190194 Microsoft Exchange offline address book

Outlook 2007 SP 3 users using Outlook Anywhere reported a synchronization log errors in their sync folders.


Here is how it was resolved:

Step I: Verify if the OAB URLs are correct

Open EMC, go to Server Configuration and click Client Access

Click the Offline Address Book Distribution tab

From the Actions pane select properties under OAB(Default Web Site)

Click the URLs tab

STEP 2: Verify if IIS_IUSRS has read access to the OAB folder

Open IIS manager, go to OAB folder under the default website

Right Click OAB folder and select Edit Permissions

Click on the Security tab

Check if the <ServerName\IIS_IUSRS> have READ access to the folder.

If not, go ahead and add the user

This should resolve the offline address book error.
